Good morning!! As I said in my last post, today is my 1 year Blogaversary! It's amazing to me that it's been a whole year already! I've made some wonderful friends through this blog, become part of 2 wonderful design teams and had a lot of fun!! To celebrate, I'm giving some Jules Jewels - yea for you!! Through the generosity of Maria and Christie I have 2 new stamp sets to give away, so I will have 2 prizes.
The first I will be drawing for is from
Paper Pretties' new line of clear stamps, called
Cuddle Me. I can't seem to get enough of sweet
Sophia and her teddy bear! When I was growing up my teddy bear was a panda - it's quite sad looking now but I loved that bear so much! I thought
Sophia needed to have a panda today. I used my new Basic Grey Two Scoops pad - the colors and patterns in this pad are so pretty (I got mine from
Verve Visual).
Cardstock: Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, Shimmery White, Basic Grey Two Scoops, Stamps: Cuddle Me, Ink: India Ink Black, Accessories: Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Aquapainter, Soft Sky Stitched Ribbon, Bella Baubles (Tropical Algae)
The second set I will be giving away is from Kitchen Sink Stamps, Forever & Always. This is one of the 3 new Valentine's sets and it's full of great images and words that you can use for anniversaries and anything related to love! Plus this set coordinates with the KSS set, Thanks With Style so the images can be used together quite nicely for even more choices! I also used a heart from
Love & Luck.
Cardstock: Shimmery White, Purely Pomegranate, dp (it was given to me so I'm not sure who makes it), Stamps: Forever & Always, Love & Luck, Inks: Purely Pomegranate, Pixie Pink Dewdrop, Regal Rose, Accessories: Purely Pomegranate Stitched Ribbon, Shimmer Brad (Making Memories), Dimensionals, White Organdy Ribbon (retired SU!)
So please leave me a comment in order to be in the drawing - let's see . . . tell me what occasion is your favorite to make cards for! Do you like making all occasion cards, birthday cards, cute card, etc. I will draw 2 names on Wednesday morning, so tell your friends and keep those comments coming! Have a great weekend!!
my best organizational idea/tip is how i store my cardstock scraps. i have a desk drawer with hanging folders for each SU cardstock color. in each hanging folder is a quart size baggie which holds my scraps. i am in that drawer every day that i stamp. very close at hand and easy to use.
