Another Dirty Challenge

Another day . . . another challenge! :) Today I played with JulieHRR's Dare to Get Dirty challenge, Embrace the White Space! I do love making clean, simply cards but they aren't always easy! I had an idea to use this great Gina K set that a good buddie of mine sent me ;) but it took a couple of tries (and some ruined cardstock) before I got it they way I wanted. I ended up embracing the off-white space! lol!

This is my first ever Gina K card! She has some really cute stamps and I don't really have a good excuse . . . but I did pop in over at the release party last night in their Member Company Forum at SCS to checkout the new sets . . . LOVE the new t-shirt set by Melanie Muenchinger!! I think that will eventually find it's way to Maine! :)

Ok, back to the card . . . I first embossed the large oval Nestabilities onto my cardstock, stamped the verse in red (thinking about Bibles with the "words of Christ in red) and then embossed the cross image using clear ep right over the verse. A small bit of scalloped dp and some ribbon finished it off.

I'm hoping to get another challenge or 2 done this weekend - along with some dt work (LOTS of wonderful stamp-y goodness in the next couple of weeks!!!!). Have a great day!!

Cardstock: Vintage Cream (Papertrey Ink), dp is Cerise (SU!), Stamps: He is Risen (Gina K Designs), Inks: Ladybug Red (Memento) Versamark, Accessories: Chocolate satin ribbon (Papertrey Ink), corner rounder punch, Nestabilities, Clear ep

A Dirty Challenge

Have you seen the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges going on over at Splitcoaststampers this week?! I have seen such beautiful cards and some fun challenges! If you are a member of the Fan Club (and if not, why???) you get to play along with them!! I had a little time this afternoon so I played along with Jenn Balcer's inspiration challenge - the cake she chose as the inspiration piece is simply amazing!!

I've had this Rubber Romance stamp for quite a while without using it and since the inspiration piece is a cake . . well it was time!! :) You may not be able to see it in the photo, but the black paper has embossed lines about 1/4" around the whole piece - then the gems are placed in the 4 corners. I just love the black, white and green (Rose Ann's card here was the first I saw yesterday and I LOVE it!!). I colored the image with Copic markers using big streaky strokes without much blending to enhance the sketchy look of the stamp. I also didn't want too much color so I mostly used the Cool Shadow marker.

I hope to get a chance to play along with some other challenges soon!! Have a great day!

Cardstock: GP White, Basic Black, dp is Chatterbox, Stamps: Rubber Romance, sentiment from Piece of Cake (Papertrey Ink), Inks: Noir, Chartreuse (Palette), Accessories: Ribbon (American Crafts), Dimensionals, Square gems, Copic Markers

Howdy!!

Good morning! My girls are in DVBS this week and have to be there bright and early so it's another quick post! :)

I'm sure by now you've seen the newest Sophia Cowgirl stamp from Paper Pretties, right?!! Isn't she just the cutest thing in boots!! In case you are wondering, this is the August Stamp of the Month Club Stamp and if you are a member you will get her 1 full month before she's even released - fun huh?! You can view all the details by clicking on Stamp of the Month Club and you have until the end of July to sign up in order to get this cute cowgirl so giddy'up and get along lil' doggies! Sorry, I couldn't help myself! :)

I've had this gorgeous Pink Paislee paper from Emma's Paperie for a while and this seemed like the perfect time to cut into it! I used my craft knife to cut around one of the flowers so that I could tuck the Sophia image in behind it. Sometimes it's the neat little touches like this that I get happy about! :) I also pulled out my big sewing machine to do some stitching on the card.

Thanks for stopping in today! Have a creative day! :)

Cardstock: Brown, Khaki (Bazzill), GP white, dp is Pink Paislee Spring Fling Collection, Stamps: Cowgirl Sophia, Inks: Palette Noir, Accessories: Copper Hardware (We R Memory Keepers), Swarovski crystal, sewing machine, edge distresser

CPS #73

I'm back as promised with my card for CPS #73! As I said earlier, Kitchen Sink Stamps is the sponsor this week at Card Positioning Systems (CPS). I'm very interested to see what their amazing designers will do with these stamps that I love so much! Go take a look at the 3 there today - they are wonderful! It's funny that 2 of them contain backgrounds made with sentiments - I had considered doing that myself. Each card is so different but they all are great!

I have to confess that this sketch kicked my butt a bit - lol! I don't know why, I really like it but if you knew how many different ideas I went through . . . it was a very late night! :) I ended up making a Christmas themed card using 3 Step Holly & Mistletoe which is such a beautiful set - it was actually my first KSS set! This card would be very simple to mass produce (especially with one of those wavy cutters). One thing that is hard to pick up in the photograph (you can click to enlarge it) is that after I finished stamping the holly it seemed a bit too "clean" compared to the dp so I stamped over it with the Linen background stamp using Sahara Sand (stamped off). It gives it a softer, vintage look.

Be sure to check out the CPS site all week to see what their designers make and also the other members of the KSS Crew (over on my right sidebar).

Cardstock: Burgundy (Bazzill), Vintage Cream (Papertrey Ink), dp is Daisy D, Stamps: 3 Step Holly & Mistletoe (Kitchen Sink Stamps), Linen (SU!), Inks: Rhubarb Stalk, Bamboo Leaves, Cottage Ivy (Memento Inks), Bravo Burgundy, Sahara Sand (SU!), Accessories: Vintage Lace (Melissa Frances)

TCC #24

Good Saturday morning!! I had a chance last night to do a quick card so I jumped in and played Taylor's Cupcake Challenge #24. I pulled out one of my My Favorite Things sets - I've so missed playing with my MFT stamps!! This card is pretty bright but I love this paper that is in my DCWV Summer Matstack from Jillian!!

Not much time today . . . hope you enjoy your Saturday!

Cardstock: Pink Passion, Garden Green, Green Galore (SU!), GP white, Summer Matstack (DCWV) Stamps: You Take the Cake (My Favorite Things), Inks: Palette Noir, Accessories: Ribbon, circle punches, Crystal Effects, Corner Rounder, White Gel Pen, Copic Markers

Swap Card

Happy Friday everyone!! Thankfully it cooled down nicely here yesterday! What a big difference - it's so pleasant now! We're headed to the Ossipee Valley Fair this afternoon - I just love this quaint little country fair!

I actually found the card that I made for the Papertrey Ink Picnic swap in my pile of swaps (I forgot that I had one extra) so I thought I'd share that with you today. The only thing different about this is that I ran out of ribbon with 1 card left to do so this pictures the card with satin ribbon while everyone else got Lavender Moon grosgrain ribbon.

I'm looking forward to the PTI release Monday night, have you been watching the sneak peeks? And what is your guess for the colors this month?

Have a great weekend everyone!

All Supplies Papertrey Ink unless specified . Cardstock: Summer Sunrise, Spring Moss, Stamper's Select White, Bitty Baby Blessings dp, Stamps: Birds of a Feather, Inks: Summer Sunrise, Lavender Moon, Accessories: Lavender Moon ribbon, Nestabilities, Corner Rounder punch , Dimensionals (SU!), Swarovski Crystal

Prettie Circular Wednesday

Happy Wednesday! Two weeks ago Danielle challenged us to use circles in today's card - did you give it a try? Come on, circles are easy!! :)

I used a lot of circles! Circles everywhere! I used the cute little ladybug from the Paper Pretties set Love Bugs and cut her out using my Nestabilities. Actually, most of the card was done with Nestabilities circles. Although the dots on the wings were punched with a crop-a-dile. She was colored with Copics and it's hard to see, but I used the sentiment from Flutterby - "Flutter your wings and fly!"

Be sure to check out what the other Prettie Girls came up with! Last week Christie challenged us to make a card using green and white - come play along! This week it's my turn and my challenge is to find an ordinary piece of "trash" and make it a treasure! This doesn't have to be too hard - papertowel rolls, toilet paper rolls, cookie containers, lemonade canisters - anything you might normally throw away (unless you were a crazy stamper - lol!). Here's a side view in case you wondered how it opened. :)

Cardstock: Georgia Pacific White, Basic Black, Real Red (SU!), Stamps: Love Bugs, Flutterby (Paper Pretties), Ink: Palette Noir, Accessories: Copics, Dimensionals, Swarovski crystals, Nestabilities, Crop-A-Dile

More Sketches

Hello again! Tonight is the big night!! Paper Pretties is releasing 2 sets, Soakin Up the Sun and Off to School. The party starts in the Pretties Pajama Parties Forum at 8 pm EST. There will be stamping, and chatting and prizes to win, it's always a fun time!!

For my card today I just had to pull out the very sweet Bunny Slippers Sophia which is the July Stamp of the Month - did you sign up??? If you did, she'll be on her way soon! If not - don't despair, next month's Sophia is just AMAZING!! You should go sign up NOW because I promise you will love her!! I'm telling you what - all the ones coming up are way too cute, you will love getting them before everyone else!

The sketch for my card is from the Weekly Challenge in the Paper Pretties Forum that is hosted by Danielle. I hardly ever get a chance to play - so I am very happy about that! It's such a fun sketch - go give it a try!!

I'm going to make this short and sweet today since I'll be seeing lots of you at the party tonight!! ;) Have a sunny day!

Cardstock: Bazzill, Georgia Pacific White, dp is Paper Salon, Stamps: Bunny Slippers, Cozy in and feel better soon (Paper Pretties), Ink: Palette Noir, Pretty in Pink, Accessories: Nestabilities, Prismacolor pencils, Fun Flock (Stampendous), Ribbon (American Crafts), Button(Queen & Co), Slot punch

Prettie Doodlie Wednesday

Well two weeks ago Joni, the fabulous illustrator at Paper Pretties challenged us to "do something by hand," write something, draw something, doodle, whatever. Can I just say . . . Joni you're killing me! :) I've said it before, I stamp because I cannot draw - I don't even doodle well! LOL!

When I think doodling, I think Bellas. I'm not sure why but maybe because I've seen so many cute frames doodled around them, So I gave it a try. I've had this pretty SEI Dill Blossom paper that I got at Emma's Paperie for a while and since my card is going to Charmaine I thought she might like it since the colors are a bit earthy (in a funky sort of way - they really are!). I colored the Javabellas with Copics (sorry I forgot to take a picture of which ones).

Don't you just love the sentiment in that big "Bellafont"? I love that Em has so many fun sentiments but especially love the ones using the Bellafont (not sure if that's the official name)! :)

Ok, last week Danielle challenged us to use circles on our card - yeah! I can do that!! This week our challenger is Christie so be sure to blurf around and see what the other Prettie Girls came up with! Thanks for visiting!!

Cardstock: Stamper's Select Vintage Cream, SEI Dill Blossom dp, Stamps: Java Bella, Enjoy Life (Stamping Bella), Inks: Palette Noir, Accessories: Dimensionals, Nestabilities, Copic Markers, Spica Pens, Felt flower (SU!), Brass brad (Doodlebug)

Let's Think Christmas!!

Good afternoon! I'm just stopping in quickly with a Public Service Announcement. Kitchen Sink Stamps is counting down to Christmas! Did you realize that tomorrow it will 6 months until Christmas Day?? How many of you have started your shopping?

Let's start tomorrow - from June 25 - 28 three Kitchen Sink Stamps sets, Playful Christmas, 3 Step Holly & Mistletoe, and Snow Flurry will be 15% off. What a great way to start your cards - get them done now before it gets crazy! Buy a gift for your crafty friend, or yourself! :)

When I sat down to make a Christmas card I had a hard time thinking red and green amidst all the summery colors so I came up with the fun card using Playful Christmas. I think it would be such a neat non-traditional card. It would certainly stand out in your friend's stack of cards! I created the background paper by stamping the flower tree over and over again, turning it each time and lining up the edges to stay straight. The tree and sentiment are embossed with White Detail EP. The ribbon is white organdy with PTI Aqua Mist satin layered on top. The colors are peaceful to me so I think the sentiment is perfect.

Be sure to check out what the other Kitchen Crew made today, I know they will inspire you to Think Christmas!! :)

Cardstock: Aqua Mist (Papertrey Ink), Shimmery White (Paper Accents), Stamps: Playful Christmas (Kitchen Sink Stamps), Inks: Aqua Mist (Papertrey Ink), Versamark, Accessories: Ribbon (Papertrey Ink), Organdy ribbon (SU! - retired) Nestabilities, White Detail EP (SU!), Swarovski crystals, Corner Rounder punch

ETA: I forgot to let you know that Tammy Hershberger did an absolutely fabulous KSS Project of the Month - it's perfect for the upcoming 4th of July. Go check it out!! I will have another 4th of July project coming on Thursday! ;)

More Papertrey

Good morning!! Did you all have a good weekend?! Ours was pretty uneventful but sometimes those are the best kind right? :)

I wanted to share a couple Papertrey Ink cards. First, I made this card a week or so ago when I needed a baby gift card. It was pretty simple. I love that sailboat from the Bitty Baby Blessings! I paper pieced the sale from some Everyday Blessings paper and I used my Fiskars trimmer/scorer to add the scored lines 1/2" on each side.

Cardstock: Stampers Select White, Spring Moss, Everyday Blessings dp (Papertrey Ink), Stamps: Bitty Baby Blessing (Papertrey Ink), Inks: Palette Noir, Spring Moss, Aqua Mist (Papertrey Ink), Accessories: Dimensionals, Aquapainters,

Tell me friends, how much do I need a Scor-Pal?? I keep going back and forth - Scor-Pal or Janome?? I do have a regular sewing machine but don't really get it out that much to sew on cards since it's big and heavy. . . but it is there. What about the Scor-Pal? I see so many cool projects made with it - should I get one?? Seriously, please help me out here! :)

Ok, here's my second card. I found a cool thread in the Papertrey Ink Forum - they have a Casual Mid-Week Challenge. Neat huh? Kim Crawford posted this sketch and I thought it was so fun I gave it a try. As you can see I am still on a bright kick. Actually, this whole card's color scheme came from the ribbon - some yummy American Crafts ribbon I picked up at Target last month. The cupcakes are from It's a Celebration. I love how there are different "tops" for the cupcakes - this one goes well doesn't it?!

Thanks for visiting! I have a busy week ahead . . . my BIL will be in town for a couple days, he's just getting off the ship he works on and heading home to Thailand, we're going to look at Aaron's pictures from last week, plans for a couple get togethers with friends - lots of fun stuff!! :) I hope you have a great Monday!!

Cardstock: Stampers Select White (Papertrey Ink), Green Galore, YoYo Yellow, Real Red, Stamps: It's a Celebration (Papertrey Ink), Inks: Paris Lights (Palette), Ladybug Red, Bahama Blue (Memento), Green Galore (SU!), Accessories: brads (Queen & Co.), Word Window punch, Nestabilities, Dimensionals, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, ribbon (American Crafts)

Prettie Orange Wednesday

I'm done!!! I finished Aaron's outfit for his pictures - which are tomorrow, am I a procrastinator or what?! :) I'm happy with how it came out. I'll try to take a picture of it tomorrow, he's going to look so cute!

Since I spent all day sewing I am late with my Prettie Girl DT Challenge. Two weeks ago Jessie challenged us to use bright colors and one of the colors had to be orange. I decided to use orange as my main color using some great Scenic Route Metropolis paper. When I thought bright colors I thought about Off to School Sophia! She is this month's Stamp of the Month and Paper Pretties so she will be available to everyone next month. Have you seen the adorable Sophia for next month?? Bunny Slippers Sophia is just too adorable!

The card is pretty simplistic but since the paper is such a busy stripe it was better to keep it simple. I used my Copic markers which I am still trying to get the hang of. I need to practice blending and shading! Once put together I stamped the lunchbox again, cut it out and popped it up with a Dimensional.

Last week Joni challenged to do something on our card by hand - write, draw, doodle, whatever you like. That should be interesting! Easy for her since she's Paper Pretties' fabulous illustrator! :) Don't forget to check out what the other Prettie Girls did today and what Danielle challenges us to do this week!

Thank you all who sent congratulations on my PTI Honorable Mention! It's was so exciting to see my name there with the other amazingly talented stampers! Be sure to check out all the submission - especially if you need baby gift ideas! :) Have a great night!

Cardstock: Orange, Aqua (Bazzill), Stamper's Select White (Papertrey Ink), Metropolis (Scenic Route), Stamps: Off to School Sophia, Ink: Palette Noir, Accessories: Dimensionals, Nestabilities, brad (Target), Copic markers, ribbon (May Arts)

Yo-Yo's and a Sketch

I haven't much time lately to do challenges or sketches - something I love to do! Today was the day! I checked into a fun, inspiration blog Pursuit of Craftyness which is made up of some amazingly talented designers! There is always something fun there - today it was Quick and Easy Fabric Yo-Yo's. I've seen these before but never really thought about using them as a cardmaking/scrapbooking embellishment - until today! They are so easy to make, my 6 year old made one! I made this one with the fabric I am using for Aaron's outfit (the one I am supposed to be working on right now!) - it's hard to see but it's a light green and white stripe.

I used Paper Pretties' sweet Cuddle Me set. I love this image of Sophia- she looks so loveable and just precious! I paper pieced her dress, hair bow and "rug." I used the large oval from Sassy Circles, stamped it with Versamark on the dp, covered it with clear embossing powder, heat set it and then cut it out. I then had to line it up with my stamped image, stamp Sophia's feet and cut them out.

I used the first ever sketch challenge for Our Creative Corner, another blog with a fabulous group of designers! This sketch was done by Cindy Haffner. I changed the placement of the circle element because of the size of the yo-yo, but it was a fun sketch to work with!

Thanks for visiting today! Give those yo-yo's a try, such fun! :)

Cardstock: Green (Bazzill), dp is SEI, Watercolor paper (SU!), Stamps: Cuddle Me, Sassy Circles, Inks: Palette Noir, Versamark, Accessoires: Clear embossing party, ribbon (May Arts), Watercolor Wonder crayons, Aquapainters, Chipboard Button (Making Memories), fabric, corner rounder punch

A little "Pomp"

It's graduation time isn't it?! We are planning a little party for Emma since she finished Kindergarten this year. She wants to have a spelling bee - lol! Ever since she saw a little bit of the National Spelling Bee on tv last week she's been studying her word list book and drilling her sister on spelling words, it's too cute! :)

Ok, on to the card. Here's another one of the new sets released last week from Kitchen Sink Stamps. This is 3 Step Graduation - perfect for June! I also used Plaid Plus to make the bottom striped paper. It was easy to line up and I love the "pinstripe" effect it gives - makes the card more masculine doesn't it? I used some more of my new Memento inks available in the KSS store. The dark blue is Paris Dusk - it's a very pretty shade!

It's hard to see from the picture, but the "2008" is embossed with Silver EP. I kept feeling like this card was missing something but think it cannot take one more thing!

Thanks so much for stopping in!! Have a wonderful day! :)

Cardstock: White (Georgia Pacific), Silver (SU!), Red (Bazzill), Stamps: 3 Step Graduation, Plaid Plus, Inks: Going Gray, Paris Dusk, Lady Bug, Rhubarb Stalk, Palette Noir, Versamark, Accessories: Brads, Dimensionals, Nestabilities, Ribbon (American Crafts),

Prettie Old/New Wednesday

Good morning! We had such a nice day at the lake yesterday! The water was a good temp (not that I got in above my waist!) there was a nice breeze off the water and the children had fun playing with their cousins. My SIL and I decided we really needed to do this more often - our house is only 1 mile from the lake so what's my excuse? :)

Anyway, today is another Prettie Wednesday! I really look forward to these days - seeing what the other Prettie Girls have come up with and finding out what the new challenge is! Having said that, I'm not really thrilled with my card today! Jillian challenged us to Make It New - take one of your "oldest" stamps and make it new again. Ok, I'm thinking there's a reason they are my "old" stamps - I've used up all the goodness out of 'em - lol!! I bought this set to make Emma's 1st birthday invitations and thank you's - I just fell in love with the cute doodle-y feel. I still like it (which is why I still have it) but I think my brain was a bit fried from the heat and sun today!

Be sure to blurf around and check out what the other Prettie Girls came up with - I'm sure it will be fabulous!!! Last week Jessie challenged us to use bright colors and one must be orange! Today Joni challenged us to "hand do something" - whether it's doodle, draw, write . . . something on the card must be done by hand - not stamps. Ok, my card today would qualify! :) Have a great day!

Cardstock: Regal Rose, Lovely Lilac, Certainly Celery, Tempting Turquoise, Stampers Select White (Papertrey Ink), Flowers for You (SU!), Stamps: Inks: Regal Rose, Lovely Lilac, Certainly Celery, Tempting Turquoise, Palette Noir, Accessories: Dimensionals, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, corner rounder, regal rose grosgrain, Nestabilities, Aquapainter

One of Those Days!

Quick post . . . which I'm sure will be the case for many of us bloggers for the summer! :) We're headed to the lake today as the temps are supposed to reach 90's!! It's way too hot for June - lol! It's almost too hot to stamp! Is that possible?

Don't you love this cute set, One of Those Days from Paper Pretties? That little chick cracks me up (no pun intended - lol!) . This was a pretty quick card but I love the colors and that great paper from Imaginisce For Peep's Sake.

Have you checked out the Boutique lately? Christie has uploaded lots of inventory that was on the old site but didn't make the transition. Also, remember to check out the Stamp of the Month Club - it's a fun way to get a pre-release Sophia stamp each month and oh my goodness, wait until you see next month's!!! She is just ADORABLE! You will definitely want her! :)

Have a great day everyone - stay cool!

Cardstock: Stamper's Select White (Papertrey Ink), Imaginisce For Peep's Sake, Stamps: One of Those Days (Paper Pretties), Ink: Palette Noir, Accessories: Copic markers, dimensionals, Lemon Tart grosgrain ribbon (Papertrey Ink), Bella Baubles

Fun Plaid!

Good morning!! It's a rainy, gray day here and I have lots to get done! I wanted to show you one more of the new Kitchen Sink Stamp sets that was released on Tuesday. It's called Plaid Plus and it's so neat!! I made the whole plaid on the background of this card and it was sooooo easy!! Check out Maria's awesome step-by-step tutorial - it's so thorough! I used some of my new Memento Dew Drops that are also available in the KSS Store. They are wonderful! They are dye inks (much like SU! Classic pads) so they can be used for anything and there are lots of fun colors! They are especially good for the Plaid Plus set because when you ink the long stamps you don't get lines on them like you sometimes do with the SU! pads, kwim?

I also used a new set called Other Important People which uses the same font as Whole Family and 3 Step Hearts & Roses so it coordinates perfectly!! You can pretty much say anything you want to with these sets - it's amazing!! Oh, and on the sentiment I also used Swirly Hearts & Stars which is such a fun complient to Playful Stars!!

I will probably not be posting for a few days . . . I need to finish Aaron's outfit for his 1st year portrait so that will take a bit of my time over the next several days! But I will be back next week with more fun things - hope you all have a wonderful weekend!! :)

Cardstock: Stamper's Select White (Papertrey Ink), Brilliant Blue, Certainly Celery (SU!), Stamps: Other Important People, Playful Stars, Plaid Plus, Swirly Hearts & Stars (Kitchen Sink Stamps), Inks: Sky Blue, New Sprout, Paris Dusk, Bamboo Leaves (Memento Dew Drops), Accessories: Blue Taffeta, Dimensionals (SU!), Swarovski crystal, Nestabilities

Prettie Baby Wednesday

Hello!! I'm late today . . . sorry! :) I just can't seem to get everything done this week! Ok, 2 weeks ago Jana challenged us to make a baby card using Paper Pretties stamps! That was a challenge! We really don't have any baby images . . . yet!

I looked at all my images and finally just decided to make a simple card using Sassy Circles and the frame from Look Who's Perky. I used 3 different colors of the new Papertrey Perfect Match Palette inks - Sweet Blush, Lemon Tart and Lavendar Moon. I think it came out pretty sweet although I did have to cheat and use a sentiment from the PTI Bitty Baby Blessings set.

Last week Jillian challenged us to use one of our oldest stamps and "Make It New Again" - why don't you play along and send me a link?! This week it's Jessie's turn to challenge us - hope you can play too! Be sure to check out all the other Prettie Girls' blogs to see what they came up with! Have a great day!!

Cardstock: Lavendar Moon, Lemon Tart (Papertrey Ink), Georgia Pacific White, Stamps: Sassy Circles, Look Who's Perky (Paper Pretties) Bitty Baby Blessings (Papertrey Ink), Ink: Lavendar Moon, Lemon Tart, Sweet Blush (Papertrey Ink), Accessories: Lavendar Moon & Sweet Blush dotted satin ribbon (Papertrey Ink), Dimensionals, Brads, Ticket Corner punch

Cookies Anyone?

Good morning! What a busy week it is! I have so many things that need to get done . . . I wish I could figure out how to not sleep! The girls have a couple of friends coming over today for a play date - they are soooooo excited! It's really cute actually to see how excited they get about company, it should be a lot of fun!

It's been a while since I used Lexi from Made With Love from Paper Pretties- she's so classy looking isn't she? I thought it would be fun to use the cookie image from Sweets for the Sweet to create a background and then create a "cookie" to add to my card. I cut that out with my circle Nestabilities and used the edge of a scalloped Nestabilities for the "bite." The chips were done with an uneven pencil eraser. I colored Lexi with my Copic markers (pictured below). I even colored the ribbon with a Copic to tone down the white.

How many of you have signed up for the Stamp of the Month club? You are going to love getting cute Off to School Sophia before everyone else . . . and wait until you see what's coming for next month - adorable!!! Go check out all the details.

Remember also that today is the day to order the new Kitchen Sink Stamps - have fun! :) Have a great day!

Cardstock: Kraft (Papertrey Ink), Very Vanilla (SU!), Brown & Rust (Bazzill), Stamps: Made with Love, Sweets for the Sweet, Inks: Brilliance Chocolate, Ruby Red, Accessories: Nestabilities, ribbon (Michaels), Dimensionals, Copics, Spica pen, copper brad, word window punch
