Who Wants Stamps?
Good morning!! As I said in my last post, today is my 1 year Blogaversary! It's amazing to me that it's been a whole year already! I've made some wonderful friends through this blog, become part of 2 wonderful design teams and had a lot of fun!! To celebrate, I'm giving some Jules Jewels - yea for you!! Through the generosity of Maria and Christie I have 2 new stamp sets to give away, so I will have 2 prizes.
The first I will be drawing for is from Paper Pretties' new line of clear stamps, called Cuddle Me. I can't seem to get enough of sweet Sophia and her teddy bear! When I was growing up my teddy bear was a panda - it's quite sad looking now but I loved that bear so much! I thought Sophia needed to have a panda today. I used my new Basic Grey Two Scoops pad - the colors and patterns in this pad are so pretty (I got mine from Verve Visual).
Cardstock: Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, Shimmery White, Basic Grey Two Scoops, Stamps: Cuddle Me, Ink: India Ink Black, Accessories: Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Aquapainter, Soft Sky Stitched Ribbon, Bella Baubles (Tropical Algae)
The second set I will be giving away is from Kitchen Sink Stamps, Forever & Always. This is one of the 3 new Valentine's sets and it's full of great images and words that you can use for anniversaries and anything related to love! Plus this set coordinates with the KSS set, Thanks With Style so the images can be used together quite nicely for even more choices! I also used a heart from Love & Luck.
Cardstock: Shimmery White, Purely Pomegranate, dp (it was given to me so I'm not sure who makes it), Stamps: Forever & Always, Love & Luck, Inks: Purely Pomegranate, Pixie Pink Dewdrop, Regal Rose, Accessories: Purely Pomegranate Stitched Ribbon, Shimmer Brad (Making Memories), Dimensionals, White Organdy Ribbon (retired SU!)
So please leave me a comment in order to be in the drawing - let's see . . . tell me what occasion is your favorite to make cards for! Do you like making all occasion cards, birthday cards, cute card, etc. I will draw 2 names on Wednesday morning, so tell your friends and keep those comments coming! Have a great weekend!!
Congratulations on your blogaversary! I seem to mostly make "thank you" cards. I think they're SO important...saying "thank you" means so much, and having a home made card means all the more.
ReplyDeleteI like to make cards that are just because - thinking of you cards!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the goodies!! Happy Blogaversary!!

I love to make birthday cards as there seems to be a need for more of them than any other card. I also really enjoy making "friends" cards for no reason other than to just say how much I care for them. Thanks for this great giveaway. I would love either.

ReplyDeleteI mostly make birthday and thank you cards, but one of my resolutions for the new year is to become more creative, so I think I should force myself to make cards for other occasions too.

Congrats on your 1 year Blogaversary! I love making make all kinds of cards regardless of the reason. My family and friends look more forward to the card then they do the gift. One Xmas I didn't make cards I bought cards due and they were so upset but they didn't say anything because the understood why I didn't make the cards but you can tell from their faces they were disappointed. So now my 12 year old sister always ask your making cards right. LOL!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogaversary! Well I've just started making cards a couple of months now but my fav. cards are just because cards. I love to see someone's face when I gave them a card and they get a smile on their face nothing beats it :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your anniversary! My favorite creating time, by far, is Christmas cards, tags, gifts, etc. However, that time is very short, so second would probably be thank you cards. :) heather

Congrats! I'm with a lot of the others. . .I like to make birthday cards. But I also like to make some "just because". There are a few people who admire the stuff I've made in the past and it's fun to make them something to surprise them with one!

My favorite occasion is of course, Christmas. But anything I can color makes me happy. I so enjoy reading and learning from your blog. Keep up the good work and congratulations on your blogaversary.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Julie. I ESPECIALLY like to make valentine cards that express my love. In the "old days" I remember making each of my kids and husband poster sized collages cut from magazines. Some were really funny, but now I have super stamps to help me express my love individually. Hugs from Nana Brown. (Camden gets to go home on Tuesday!!!)
ReplyDeleteWOW, you sure are generous!! These are both awesome prizes!!! I love making Happy Birthday cards because I like to donate them to Ronald McDonald House and Cards For Troops.

I am so happy for ME that you decided to start a blog 1 year ago!! Your talent inspires me! I like stamping when I'm inspired by someone else. I'm not terribly creative, but I can take someone else's idea and run with it. I call it stealing ideas - but I'm so lucky others call it casing!! Thank you so much, Julie...for your willingness to share your love of stamping.
