Prettie Wednesday
Wow! Do Wednesdays come around as fast you guys as they do for me??? I just can't get over the speed at which this year is flying by! Did you know there are only around 50-something days until Christmas? Yikes!
Well since it's Wednesday it's Prettie Girl Challenge Day. Two weeks ago I issued a challenge to use chipboard on your card. Did anyone play along?? Post a link here in your comment so that we can see your creation! I know lots of you out there have hoards of chipboard - go ahead, use it!! :)
Here is my card. I've had this cute little Wire Tree stamp by Stampendous (available in the Corner Store) for a couple of weeks and decided it was time to ink it up! The star on top was pretty much a perfect match to these cute Star Cuttlebug dies I have (the set has 4 sizes of stars). So I glued my DP onto some chipboard coasters and ran the dies through my Cuttlebug . . . and since I had it out I just HAD to use my Nestabilities again too (have I told you how much I LOVE them??!) If you are thinking of jumping into the world of scallops and die cuts you HAVE to try these! Remember you can sign up for the Paper Pretties Nestabilities Now club and get them one month at a time to make it more affordable!
I was pretty happy with how this card turned out! The DP looked almost primitive country to me so that is the look I went for. BTW, how does the photo look? I recently purchased one of those Photo Light Boxes on Ebay and have been testing it out . . the lights needs some adjusting but overall I'm happy with it! Don't forget to check out the other Prettie Girl's cards (Joanne, Charmaine, Alli, Jillian, Julie Campbell, Kristine, and Christie) and see what this week's challenge is from Kristine Reynolds.
Have a great day everyone! I'll be back tomorrow with a really fun card using my Kitchen Sink Stamps so please be sure to come back!
