Playful Christmas
Happy Monday!! Remember - today's the day I draw for my KSS blog candy! See this post for the details on entering, I'll have random.org choose a number at 5 pm EST.
Just to get you even more excited I had a bit of time this weekend to use my Playful Christmas set and let me just say it is so fun!! This photograph doesn't capture how pretty this tree is IRL! I made the tree using one of the littlest trees in the set and stamping it multiple times using 2 different inks to create a large tree. I used my new Brilliance Pearlescence inks that I bought from the Kitchen Sink Store (they are SOOO pretty & pearly!) and then embossed with clear ep. Can you imagine trying this with a rubber stamp and stamp-a-ma-jig?? ? Crazy! But with clear stamps this a snap! The tree was stamped on gold cardstock, cut out and mounted on shimmery white cardstock. The base of the tree was done by stamping the dot over the letter "i" from Playful Alphabet.
Here's a close up of the tree. The DP is from Paper Salon called Ornamental Holiday, it along with the hardware and gems can all be found at the Paper Pretties Corner Store. The ribbon is SU!
Have a great day everyone, I'll be back later to announce the winner of the Playful Christmas set!
Oooooh! Julie! You are feeling it today, aren't you! This is awesome! Is this what happens when your MIL takes the kids for the day? So clever!
