More Petals
I'm trying to learn to make the most of my stamping time these days. With only 10-15 minutes here and there I don't get a lot of big projects done . . . and I am one of those people that can spend an hour on 1 card! My brain is slow! :) Anyway, here's what I did today.
I was heavily inspired by Charmaine's quick and simple cards a couple of days ago. Hers were cute little bugs and different colors - so cute! I love the look of just the plain line art on a white card - you could whip out a ton of these very quickly if needed!! Again, I used my new Pick a Petal set and the new Purely Pomegranate and Wild Wasabi colors. I colored in the petals with my aquapainters using the ink pad. The sentiment is from my Green Thumb set from Papertrey Ink. The ribbon is from Michaels (I think - or AC Moore).
Birth announcements are coming along - I finally have all the supplies and should be able to get them done by next week (lots of coloring, cutting, etc.). Have a great day everyone!
Oh I just LOVE it! Great card with that set! Simple and oh so sweet!

ReplyDeleteThis is such a gorgeous card. I wish I could pull off single layer cards like this. I Love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet card...and I love the colors and ribbon! I know what you mean about spending lots of time on one card...but it's fun to make a simpler one as well, right?
