Father's Day Card
A bit late, but . . . I thought I'd post it anyway. I love Fishafella - he's so great for my father! My parents live about a 5 minute walk to the beach and my father likes to go down and fish when he some free time.
I've had a package of SU's Watercolor paper for some time now and have not tried it out, so today was the day! I love the effect of watercoloring on this nice, thick paper. It stood up to more water than regular cardstock does. The only thing is that it is not really white, it's more off-whitish which looked funny when I tried to pair it with a DP that had white in it. Oh well, I still like it. :)
The cardstock is Wild Wasabi - one of the new In Style colors. I love it!! It is just the shade of green I needed to go with the DP, which is Big Polka Dots from Deja Views (bought at Michaels). The ribbon is SU's navy grosgrain and green gingham from Michaels.
For all you local customers, remember to send me your orders by next week. Retiring sets and accessories are only available through the 29th! Hope you all have a fun day - the sun is shining here, yea!!
It's so great! I love stampin up's watercolor paper. Tho, as you say, it's not quite white. Fishafella looks great with that colorful bg.
