Colleen's Challenge - CASE'm
Ok, so this is not the best job of case'ing I've ever done but . . . .
Colleen's Throwdown Thursday challenge was to case one of her previously Featured Artists. She's featured so many great stampers it was hard to choose (and considering I had only about 15 minutes it had to be quick!!). I chose to case Heidi - I love her blog and her stamping is always clean, pretty and inspirational.
This is the card I chose to case. I love clean and simple these days - is that due to the fact that my life is anything but clean or simple lately??? :) So, as I said I had about 15 minutes and here is my card. My card is 4.25 square - I've been doing a lot of square cards lately - love them!! The stamp used here is from Stamping Bella, called Daisy Purse (it's in the Fashion and Makeup section). I thought it was so cute and hadn't used it yet. I stamped them with my Burnt Umber Palette ink and colored with my Watercolor Wonder crayons. I used dimensionals to pop out the cut-out middle purse. The ribbon is from Michaels - which inspired the color choice for the purse. The words are from my Papertray set from Papertrey Ink and I did 3 little paper piercing holes about the Happy to add some more detail from Heidi's card.

Ok, so I love Heidi's card better, but this one is kind of growing on me! :) Have a great weekend everyone, hopefully I'll post some more pictures of the puppy soon and maybe even the baby! :) Both are doing very well - the puppy is so sweet and smart (only about 4 accidents in a week, pretty good, huh?!!).
Oh, this is so cute, Julie! What a great card!
