Summer's coming!

Quick post today as I need to get in the shower, dressed and get the children ready before I go out this morning.

I finally got to play a little with my new bellas last night, they've been languishing in their plastic bag for about 5 days now! :) I am soooo ready for some warm weather here! I read blogs of people in warmer climates and get so jealous of their 70 degree weather!! Well, Beachabella is certainly ready - isn't she cute! Never in my wildest dreams would I be caught in a bikini like this (or any for that matter!) but that's the beauty of bellas, we can dream! I wanted to make her bright and pretty so I used my Bold Brights again - it's getting to that time of year when we can use these again, isn't it?? Ok, so I wanted to try and make my own background paper so I used Sparkling Summer and just randomly stamped a background. The sand around her feet is really sand - I used a VersaMarker and Heat & Stick powder to add some playground sand for texture, it looks really neat IRL. Her towel is cut out of DP and I added little polka dots to her bikini first with a turquoise marker, then a white gel pen on top of that to soften it.
