Fishy Days

I had such a productive day yesterday, don't know what exactly happened but . . . . I was so thrilled to get my last Bella swap designed and done. I like joining swaps that aren't due for a month or so, it takes me a while to come up with a design that I feel is "worthy" of swapping! I always want it to be special. Well, yesterday was the day and I'm really pleased with the outcome - unfortunately I can't show you! :(

But, besides finishing the swap, I had a chance to play with one of my newer bellas, Staceyfishabella . . . isn't she cute??? Both my girls went fishing for the first time last summer and really loved it - Emma even caught her first fish! (not the greatest pictures - we were camping in a heavily mosquito infested, and very private area . . . ) She was so excited, she actually hooked the fish and started to reel it in before Daddy took over.

Anyway, enough of that. I really enjoyed using the frayed ribbon technique yesterday and thought it looked cute here again. I can see a lot of cute scrapbook pages made with Staceyfishabella.

I have a Girls Scout Leader appreciation night tomorrow that I need to prepare for. They will be making card boxes and a few cards, so that's my task today. I also need to get busy on those birthday invites from 2 days ago! The cold is supposed to moderate here starting tomorrow and I can't wait - we haven't gone out in days, it's just tooooooo cold. I think even the chickens are cold, the eggs seem to freeze when they make contact with the nest (then they crack and they're no good!). Try to stay warm everyone and have a great day!
