Material Challenge
Yesterday's challenge on SCS was to use material in someway in your creations. I thought about it all day . . . what could I use, I have a ton of fabric but couldn't come up with a creation I liked. Then I saw a card with denim on it and remembered these mini composition notebooks I have and thought it's be a great combo.
Well, here's the result. I used up some of the faux suede I made for my son's birthday invitation for the "notes" part and I used Cowboy Kid for the stamping on the denim. I think it will be a nice little notebook to record my son's presents and other things that happened on his birthday - it goes right along with his cowboy theme. The little latch for the notebook was done using a belt loop that I cut off a pair of old jeans. It's attached with Sticky Strip and a strip of velcro. It was a very quick and easy project to put together.
