Look for Rainbows - April TCP Tuesday!
Good morning! I'm a bit late this week with the NEW TCP Tuesday challenge for the month of April, but I've had a sick child and things have been a bit crazed! I think I've washed my entire bed about 3 times since Sunday - ugh! So far he's the only one that's gotten it so that is definitely something to be thankful for!
But, the card . . . this month's TCP Tuesday challenge (which you can view here on SCS and on Alma's blog) is to use flowers! I know you call can do that - use die cuts (The Cat's Pajamas has several flower CutUps!), use stamps, use 3d flowers, use patterned paper with flowers, use your imagination - you can do it!!
I wanted to do something fun, something unexpected so here's what I came up with.
The umbrella was paper pieced with some floral patterned paper and the sentiment was stamped on piece of deli paper which was die cut using the largest Circus Panel CutUps die.
You have the entire month of April to get in on this challenge and you can submit as many times as you like!! Alma has all the details listed on her blog. Wouldn't you like to be named the Swanky Stamper this month?
Cardstock: (White) Neenah, (Hibiscus Burst, Summer Sunrise, Simply Chartreuse, Aqua Mist) Papertrey Ink, Patterned Paper: Jillibean Soup, Stamps: (Hare Today) The Cat's Pajamas, Ink: (Black) Marvy, Accessories: (rhinestones) Kaiser, Tools: (Wave CutUps die, Circus Panel CutUps die, Lacy Floral Doily CutUps die) The Cat's Pajamas, Copic markers
