KSS Blessings
Happy Monday! I hope you all had a blessed Easter weekend. It's time for another Kitchen Sink Stamps Monday and this time I used the Sketch Challenge from Splitcoaststampers for my card.
I played around with some color this time wanting it to have almost a "spotlight" effect without being an exact spotlight (make sense??). I used Multi-Step Giant Sunflower for my card.
In the background I stamped:
Step3 - (Going Gray) SU!, Step 2 - (Going Gray stamped off), Step 3 (Going Gray stamped off 2x), Step 4 - (Going Gray), Step 5 - (Black) Memento
For the yellow flower I used:
Step 3 - (Summer Sunrise) Papertrey Ink, Step 2 - (Dandelion) Memento, Step 1 - (Dandelion), Step 4 - (Going Gray) SU!, Step 5 - (Black) Memento
Stay tuned for some exciting news from KSS - any guesses?? In the meantime, I hope you have a chance to visit the rest of the KSS Crew today and that you are enjoying a great day!
ETA: Ok, Ok, I'll post the BIG NEWS now instead of making you wait! :) Kitchen Sink Stamps is releasing 4 new sets - YEA!!! Exciting right?! It's been a little while, but you are going to love these new sets, just amazing! Release Day is set for April 23rd with sneak peeks the week before, stay tuned!

Lovely card! I've seen several like this of late -- black and white with a "pop" of color -- really like how they turn out!
ReplyDeleteI love the gray background you have created with the giant sunflower! It really makes your yellow sunflower pop!! That tiny sentiment is perfect for this sweet design! Awesome work, Julie!
ReplyDeleteWow! I don't think I have never seen the sunflowers with b/w colors! This is so beautiful Julie!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! Love the sunflowers in the shades of grey!
