It's December and the first Monday so it's time for a new Kitchen Sink Stamps Crew Challenge!! This time Angela is our hostess and she's giving us permission to CASE - pick one of your favorite cards by the KSS Crew and put your own spin on it!! I cannot wait to see what you all make this time, such a fun challenge!
I chose this beauty made by Angela - I loved the design here and can see so many different elements used in place of the strawberries! I chose to use the gingerbread men from Multi-Step Garland and some fun October Afternoon paper. Using the dp gives my card a much busier look but I still think it works.
I toned it down a bit by adding just clear glitter for the border (made by using 1/8" Scor-Tape) and embossed the sentiment using black embossing powder. The gingerbread men were really a recipe from Lisa. They were stamped on Fine Linen cardstock using: Step 3 - Rich Cocoa (Memento), Step 2 - Potter's Clay (Memento), Step 1 - Dessert Sand (Memento). The lines and faces were drawn back in using a white gel pen and the buttons are tiny rhinestones.
