Make a Splash!
Happy Saturday! Is anybody out there in blogland this weekend? We've had some much needed rain today so I had a chance to stamp a bit and finished up a card I've wanted to make for TCP Tuesday from The Cat's Pajamas. I recently won the Swanky Stamper of the Month so it was fun to do a bit of shopping with my prize money! Did you know you have a chance win Cat Cash (money to spend at TCP) for playing along with TCP Tuesday? Fun stuff! I actually chose 2 sets, Fun in the Sun and By the Sea so I'd be ready to make all kinds of fun summery cards!
The challenge this week is a color challenge. I used By the Sea for my card and FTL 98. I think I still kept the card CAS even though it has colored images - I thought it was fun that the stamp set had 3 of these cute images that looked similar!
One other fun tidbit about this card, I used some of the new Divine Twine from TCP. Is it wrong to love twine so much?? I am in love with all the different colors of Divine Twine - I want it all! Hhhmm, perhaps I need to host a Divine Twine share . . . ! :) I wanted to use it in place of ribbon with my Nesties ribbon slide but since it's pretty thin I used 4 strands of the Lemon twine and made a Sailors Knot to carry out the nautical theme! I had some fun learning knot tying!
Thanks for stopping in this weekend. I hope you all are having fun - I'm off to play with my new TCP stamps some more! :)
