Something New!

As we start a new year - 2010, unbelievable!! - I want to start by saying how thankful I am for your visits, comments and support!  I have learned SO much since starting this blog (and I noticed that my 3 year blogaversary is coming up!) and have "met" wonderful people, made so many amazing friends and have been given some wonderful opportunities!  I am grateful for the companies that I am privileged to design for - I truly do love them all!  I am also so thankful for my friend Kim who started Stamping Around with me.  We've had such fun this first year of business, have learned a lot, and again met fabulous people!  2010 is going to be even better - we have great things coming! *wink*

So what is the something new you ask?  I'm a Sugar Baby!  I'm so excited to be joining Korin (aka Sugar Mama), the talented and sweet owner of Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and the other crafty ladies who bring you a fun card sketch each Saturday.  Check out The Sweet Stop each week for a fab sketch and all the Sugar Babies' cards.  One of the fun things about the sketches is that any stamps go so I'm hoping this will prompt me to use some of the many stamps I have but don't get a chance to use that often (oh you know you all have them too!  Poor neglected stamps - LOL! )!

On to today's card, it's SSS37 and I pulled out an adorable stamp set I bought from Korin when she came to  Stamping Around PA and brought her Sweet 'n Sassy stamps.  The set is called Be Blessed and I just fell in love with that sweet little rag doll. BONUS:  I just discovered as I was linking the stamp set, that it's on sale! YEA! And I didn't realize before, but it's a charity set with $2 of each set sold going a very worthy cause (read about it here)! The dp is from October Afternoon's  Report Card line.
