Love You Muchly

Time again for another Sweet Spot Sketch, number 38 to be exact.  Did you happen to catch the new My Favorite Things release the other night?  Oh my goodness - that Pure Innocence line is just so sweet!!  There are a few that I need to pick up but now I have to wait since they sold out - lol!  I did purchase some from the last release and have been itching to use this little cutie, Flower Girl.  In keeping with my Valentine "theme" for this week (which I may have to carry over into next week since I'm having so much fun!) I decided to use the little sweetie with some non-traditional colors for a Valentine.

The patterned paper is from We R Memory Keepers and I love how bright and cheerful it is, especially this yellow with the folk art-ish hearts!  I pieced her little shirt and pants and colored in the hearts with a red Spica pen (so sparkley IRL).  The flower is a Maya Road chipboard flower that I covered with more dp and then added some Fun Flock to the center piece.  The sentiment is embossed with black ep.

This is such a great sketch for almost any stamp! Give it a try - after you pay a visit to The Sweet Stop and the rest of the Sugar Babies!
