1, 2, 3 - It's a New KSS Challenge!
Good morning! Since it's the first Monday of the month we have a new Kitchen Sink Stamps Crew Challenge for you - another chance to win one of several fabulous prizes!! Check out the Kitchen Sink Stamps Blog for all the rules and details.
Our challenge today is from Angela:
Easy as 1, 2, 3
Use only 1 Pop Dot, 2 Embellishments (of your choice), and 3 different stamped images. You can use as many layers as you'd like, but please don't use more than the items listed. Want to use ribbon? That counts as one embellishment, but...you can use as many different types of ribbon as you'd like. Make sense?
As I was making my card I didn't know whether my flower, stem and leaf stamps counted as 3 images or if the flower as a whole was 1 but since it was late I made an executive decision and decided they were 3 images - lol!! I used 1 pop dot on the leaf. My 2 embellisments are ribbon (including the vintage lace) and a brad. I decided to leave it blank for now and decide on a sentiment when I need it.
What a fun challenge this was and I just love that flower! Here's my ink recipe, oh and for steps 2 & 3, I just inked around the outside of the flower, the petals, without inking the center so it wouldn't get too dark:
Flower:
Step 1- Apricot Appeal,
Step 2 - Ladybug Red
Step 3 - Rhubarb Stalk
Step 4 - Rich Cocoa
Sep 5 - Chocolate Chip
Leaf:
Step 1 - Pear Tart
Step 2 - Bamboo Leaves
Step 3 - Old Olive
Thanks for stopping by today! Now guess what, October 12 Kitchen Sink Stamps will be releasing MORE new stamps!! Some beautiful sets you won't want to miss so check out Maria's blog starting at the end of this week for some sneak peeks!
