Prettie Sparklie Wednesday!
Jessie gave us a great challenge 2 weeks ago . . . to use glitter!! You all know I love anything with bling so this was totally fun to do and I'm sorry but I just love this card!! :)
Ok, I'll try to be quick . . . First of all the card is made with vellum cardstock and the scalloped circle is vellum paper (slightly thinner than cardstock). The stamp is Paper Pretties Stamp of the Month for November - you have until October 31st to sign up and be the first to receive her - otherwise you'll have to wait until December 1.
For her skirt, I stamped her on vellum paper, used my Glue Pad and stamped a swirly stamp and sprinkled it with red Fun Flock. Next I cut out just the skirt part and adhered it over the original image which I had lightly colored red with a Prismacolor pencil. I love how it looks like one of those fancy sheer skirts with velvet swirls! I used some beautiful German Glass Glitter that I got from Say It With Letters' Etsy store on Sophia's sash, her hairbow and the ornament. I also used it to make small glitter dots on each scallop of the scalloped oval and around the sentiment.
This was a fun challenge - be sure to check out what the other Prettie Girls have done!! I can't wait to see what the next challenge will be! :) Have a great day everyone!
