Fun with Napkins
Good morning!! I am back from a fabulous, absolutely wonderful Stamp & Cruise and will be sharing more of that later in the days to come (I'm still trying to get my land legs back and have many, many dt projects that need to be completed this week!). For now, I'll share this one picture of my roomies and I, Charmaine and Amber (my friend from home who came with me), just as we left for a day in Jamaica. The ship was so huge and beautiful and the trip was more amazing than I imagined!! I will try to dedicated a whole post with pics and more details soon!
Have you checked out this weeks Technique Challenge on SCS? Lynn comes up with the most amazing challenges and this week's was to use Paper Napkin Transfer - so much fun! I had to try this - so I pulled out my Paper Pretties' November Stamp of the Month (you only have until Oct 31st to sign up and get her 1 whole month before the "general public") and got to work. I just love how this technique opens up tons of possiblities - matching birthday party ensembles, holiday party treats and so much more!
I loved the funky color combination in my napkin! I missed my Nesties so much this last week - it was great to have them at my disposal again! :) As a final step I added some glitter to the tree ornaments and some Crystal Effects to Sophia's bow and hair ribbon - so it would have a satin ribbon effect.
Thank you all so much for stopping and visiting while I was gone and for all your wishes for a great trip - it really was spectacular!!! Have a wonderful day!
