Cooper Corn!
Hello again!! Just popping in quickly to share a project I made last night at the Paper Pretties Stamping In Your Jammies party! It was a great night - lots of fun ladies, great challenges, the release of Falling For You (which was the October SOTM), a Cutie Pie Annoucement (congrats Jessica Diedrich!!), a brand new Prettie Girl (contrats Jackie Pedro!!) and the announcement of the new Prettie Guests (welcome Jenn Diaz, Stephanie Hargis, Christi Thorsen and Frances Byrne!!).
Please see the Paper Pretties home page for the details on a great SALE this month for Breast Cancer Awareness month - don't miss this one!! :)
Ok, one of the challenges last night was to make a Halloween project. While I was chatting I checked my email and found an email from Paper Source (not sure how I got on their mailing but . . .they do have some cute products). There was a link to a how-to project, Candy Corn Favor Boxes, that just screamed "make me!!" So I did, it was fast - I only had an hour . . . but I got it done and love it! Definitely will be making more of these!! I think the link is there so you purchase their Pyramid boxes pre-made, but when you click for the directions there is a template that I just printed out and cut out of white cardstock - it worked so hope it was ok!! Some people at the party asked me to share the template so I'm sharing!! :) They are pretty small - but perfect size for filling with candy corns or other little treats (they open on the bottom).
Oh and what do you think of this cute little sneak peek, Pick of the Patch?? Isn't Cooper just adorable?! This cute set will be available on October 6th so mark your calendars!!
I'm off to spend some time with hubby - it's HIS birthday!!! Happy Birthday my love!! :) Come back tomorrow for details on a World Card Making Day event!!
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron (SU!), White (GP), Patterned Paper: SU! retired, Stamps: Pick of the Patch (Paper Pretties - release date 10/6/08), Sassy Circles (Paper Pretties), Ink:Tuxedo Black (Memento), Pumpkin Pie (SU!), Accessories: Nestabilities, Copic Markers, Dimensionals, Swiss Dot Cuttlebug embossing folder, eyelet & hemp (SU!)
