Prettie Mini Wednesday
Good Afternoon!! Late again . . . drats! :) Two weeks ago Joni, the amazingly talented Paper Pretties' illustrator, challenged us to make a mini-album using one of the tutorials on SCS's Resource page.
I chose to try a Meander Book - it looked like fun! It actually wasn't that bad at all - it uses 1 sheet of 12x12 paper, some chipboard coasters for the covers and a binding system if you have one. I found that once I got the book all folded up it was too thick to fit into my Bind-It-All but I just cut it down the center and punched them separately which wasn't a problem since you bind it anyway.
I used Falling For You Sophia on the cover and went with some beautiful Scenic Route Charlotte paper (I think this is my all time favorite SR paper!) to give it a fallish look - ok the brown is fallish, probably not the pink. :) This stamp is the Stamp of the Month Club stamp for September so if you want her go sign up now before the end of the month!! Otherwise, you'll have to wait until October and really who wants to wait?!! :)
Here's a shot of the inside. Since this album is going to my fellow Prettie Girl Jodi, I put a picture of her cute little girl on the inside but I want to check with her before I post that here. ETA: Jodi gave me the go-ahead so here is the first page with her adorable girlie!! :) I made a little circle tag for one corner of the picture that says "4 you" to complete the title on the cover. I left all the little insert tags blank so that Jodi can choose to embellish them or journal on them. This was a fun little book to make - I think I'll be making more!! :)
Be sure to check out all the other Prettie Girls' blogs to see their mini albums - I've peeked - they are fabulous!! Have a great day everyone!!
