The BIG KSS Release!!

Yippy!! Today is the day we get to share the 8 fabulous new Kitchen Sink Stamps that will be available for you to purchase tomorrow (6/3)! I know that you are going to love these new sets - not only are they are fabulous for upcoming Father's Day and 4th of July but you can use them all year for so many things!

I have 3 projects to share today but I'm going to do it 1 post at a time - check back at 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm to see the others. First, I'll share my card using 3 Step Baseball. Don't you love this! The detail on this bat, ball and glove is amazing!!! Plus there are tons of great sentiments/words included. If you have boys (or girls) in little league, a sports obsessed hubby, father, grandfather, son, or just love baseball- how perfect is this set!

I thought this Crate Paper would be perfect when I saw the sentiments "To A Real All Star" and "Dad." I inked only "All Star" first, added "Dad" and then the "!" (which is a separate stamp!) to make my sentiment.

A few other fun points, I did some stitching with my sewing machine - a straight stitch around the main panel and then a zig zag stitch down the right side that mirrors the punched edge I made using my photo corner punch (see this post for directions).

The top star detail was cut out of the Crate Paper. For the white layer I used a scalloped circle Nestabilitie die, cut and embossed once, then turned slightly and cut again to give a starburst effect. I know that there are starburst punches out there (Martha Stewart has one I believe) but I don't have one and I like being able to use what I have to make a similar look!
