Hello Gerber
Good Monday morning!! Sorry I have been a bit quiet lately . . . we had a very busy weekend here! Aaron's 1st birthday was Friday - cannot believe that!! It really does seem like only a short time ago when he was born. We had his party on Saturday - low key but fun (I'll try to post some pics soon!).
I needed a general, thinking of you, hello-type card today and wanted to try some more gerber daisies. Remember the great 3 Step Honey Bunny set from Kitchen Sink Stamps has a beautiful 3 step gerber in it. They are defintely some of my favorite flowers - I just love the big soft petals!
Anyway, this card is pretty straight forward, nothing too fancy but I really love these colors together and thought the mix of patterns was interesting too. Is it too much? I just love the depth of color on that flower!!
I need to get going, but come back tomorrow - I'll have some fun KSS news and hopefully news on a project I've been working on for Paper Pretties. Have a great Monday!! :)
Cardstock: Stamper's Select (PTI), Berrylicious (SU!), October Afternoon, Stamps: 3 Step Honey Bunny, Inks: Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Rose Red, Accessories: Ribbon (American Crafts), Dimensionals, Corner Rounder, Brads (Queen & Co.)
this is so pretty, love the rounded corners and that is a great color combo.
ReplyDeleteMy two favorite colors!! Turquoise and Pink!!! I still can't believe he's 1 already, I swear he was just born when I first met you. Wow how time flies! xoxo
ReplyDeleteJulie....you may think that this card is "nothing too fancy" but I think it's beautiful. I love the colours and the flower is wonderful. Very springy. Joan
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Julie!!!
