Prettie Peek #1
Good morning! It's time again for some new stamps from Paper Pretties! The release of 2 new sets will be combined with the Pretties' Pajama Party hosted by Prettie Girl Charmaine! There is still time to submit to be the newest Cutie Pie and receive the newest releases free! The fun starts Sunday, March 9 at 8 p.m., EST in the Paper Pretties' Forum under Pretties Pajama Parties!
So here is my Prettie Peek We have a new Sophia! This is Flutterby Sophia - isn't she adorable?!! Gotta love that ponytail and her string of pearls! :) I loving using my Nestabilities to make these window cards (my friend Jillian has made some awesome ones!!). I colored Sophia with my Copic markers - still practicing with these - and highlighted the butterfly and her necklace with my Spica pens. I also had to add a tiny little bling to Sophia's flower.
And what about that flower? That's a Maya Road Chipboard Blossom that I prettied up. The box has a ton of flowers in differing sizes and shapes. I'll be sharing a few techniques for using these in the coming days, but here after using my Craft pad to turn it white, I used Heat & Stick powder and Martha Stewart glitter to give it some sparkle. Then I pulled my ribbon through the hole in the center, triple knotted it and pulled the ends back through the center so they would be under the flower. Neat, huh? :)
