Cupcakeabella Friday
Here's a little card I made for my sister-in-law's birthday. I love this Cupcakeabella - she's fun to color and so cute atop her cupcake! :) I actually like her in the guava color from the Ginger Blossom paper - it's different but pretty, yes?
Have you seen the newest Bella? Ohsoprettybella is so fun!! I think she's sitting there applying all her fabulous Bare Escentuals make-up she bought when in California at CHA - right Em?? Did I tell you that Em was responsible for a lot of spending at the Bare Escentuals Boutique? Em and Nicky came back from the store with their make-up all done to perfection and many shopping bags so what were we to do? Actually, it was a fun trip I had wanted to take since I've been using the make-up this last year. We don't have a store in our area though so I wanted to see all of the products and pick some colors. It's always fun to have someone else do your make-up!
We're getting another snowstorm this weekend can you believe it?! I predict we will have snow in our backyard until the end of April! I have an SU! workshop tonight, that should be fun since I haven't had one in a little while! Have a great weekend everyone!
Cardstock: Groovy Guava, River Rock, Ruby Red, WW, inger Blossom dp, Stamps: Cupcakeabella, Piece of Cake - sentiment(PTI), Inks: India Ink Black, Ruby Red, Close to Cocoa, Accessories: Scalloped punch, circle punches, corner rounder punch, River Rock ribbon, White Gel pen
This card is adorable, what a great stamp, those scallops make the card, it is lovely, have a fun workshop and stay warm.
ReplyDeleteGreat card Julie. I love the colors. Aren't you super excited about the snow? I know I can hardly wait. NOT!! OH well. Life in Maine. I still wouldn't want to live anywhere else. -Molly B

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card as always Jules...I love those papers with this bella!! And did I ever tell you the reason I moved to CA in the first place was because of a snowstorm on my birthday?? in mid April?? Yup! Sure don't miss that! :-)

ReplyDeleteThose are some of my favorite papers, and I love how you've used Bella with her big cupcake!! So cute!!
ReplyDeleteShe looks so pretty in her yellow and red dress. Great card.
ReplyDeleteOh Julie, I 'feel' for you with all of that snow, I hope this next storm won't be as bad as is predicted. I'm am so tired of winter weather and the affect it has on my osteo athritis....and I will gladly welcome spring and summer with my arms wide open! This card is tooooooo cute and I love the groovy gauva paper used with the ginger blossoms paper....for me it is a calm color combo, yet a hint that spring will soon be arriving. I had this bella for a few weeks now, and it is still uninked....I must do something about that situation soon, and get her dirtied up abit. Thanks for the inspiration.
