Baby Isaac

As you may have seen on the Prettie Girls' blogs, we got together a little surprise package of goodies for Charmaine's new baby Isaac. We planned this months ago, the girls made their gifts and sent them to me so that I could make one big box and send it to Charmaine. It was sooooo much fun to get the goodies in the mail - I tell you though they almost didn't make it to Charmaine!!! Everything was so cute I wanted to keep them! LOL!!

We decided to all the use the same paper so that the gifts would coordinate. We used Crate Paper's Baby Bee collection which is so cute! Here was my submission for the package. I LOVE making these name frames (in case you didn't get that from the ton I've made!) and have one whole collection of paper, plus ribbon and rub-ons that coordinates really speeds up the process.

The frame is from Kohls - I watch for a 50% off sale and get these really nice ones (they come in white, black and dark wood). I used Letterpress Alphabet from SU! along with a bunch of different words from SU! (btw - my new catalog arrived and it is wonderful!!!! Let me know if you'd like one!) Kitchen Sink Stamps and Papertrey Ink. I used my We R Memory Keepers Precious Metals Hardware Kit in Vintage Brass (it also comes in Pewter and Copper) for the embellishments. I also made a card to coordinate as well as a little ornament made (hopefully it made the trip without breaking!) after seeing Jana's cute ones! I saw these square glass ornaments at Michaels when Jana and I met up last month and thought they looked like baby blocks.

I know Charmaine was so surprised when she received her box and I hope baby Isaac will someday enjoy the story of how he received each loving gift! Have a great weekend everyone!
