Friday Night's Projects

Well I'm all recovered from the weekend and it's time now to show you some of the projects that we did. First, here are the projects from my workshop on Friday night. I have to confess that both these projects were case'd. With WCMD on Saturday my brain just needed a break and these cards were just perfect anyway.

First, I love this snowman card. It was case'd from this card by Taylor. I changed very few things about this card since it was perfect already but I didn't have the snow wheel so I used Snow Flurries. I didn't do the paper piercing all around the card layer and I didn't use the white brads (since they were not SU!). This card was a big hit! The Dazzling Diamonds glitter on his face makes it extra special.

Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Wild Wasabi Textured, WW, Stamps: Big on Christmas, Snow Flurries, Ink: Black Stazon, Wild Wasabi SU Markers (Pixie Pink, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Black, Only Orange & Real Red) Accessories: Paper piercing template, Black gingham ribbon, White gel pen, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, 2 way glue pen

The second card was a case of this card by "mwohlers". I changed the colors and the shape but the basic design of the card is the same. Actually, this card is one from the workshop that I didn't really finish - there is supposed to be paper piercing on the River Rock strip.

Cardstock: River Rock, Blue Bayou, Wild Wasabi, Purely Pomegranate, WW Stamps: Paisley background, True Friend, It's All Good Ink: River Rock, Blue Bayou, Wild Wasabi, Purely Pomegranate Accessories: Scalloped circle punch, 1 1/4 and 1 3/8 circle punch, ticket corner punch, vintage brads, Purely Pomegranate stitched ribbon

ETA: I promised the ladies at the party that I would link them the instructions for the note card box I gave the hostess. Here's the tutorial from my awesome friend Joanne!! Thanks Joanne - it was a big hit!!
Tomorrow I will show you some of the projects we made on Saturday. Thanks for coming by!

  5. Oh, you bought one of my very favorite stamp sets that I'm forbidden to buy. I'm not allowing myself any more christmas stamp sets because in another few months, I won't be able to use them. But, this SNOWMAN is one of my very favorite images. We'll have to compare lists of what we have for christmas and maybe do a stamped image switcheroo! I'm so glad people liked the box. They're so easy to do, and come out super cute!
