Health Expo & a Card
Good morning!! It's been a busy week but I finally have a few minutes to post a quick card and also let local friends and customer know about an event I'm doing this Saturday.
First, Saturday, May 19 from 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Goodall Hospital in Sanford is hosting a Women's Health Expo. The event is going to be huge! There are almost 160 vendors ranging from health related ones to women's interests to shopping. There will be lectures and demos all day, there is free child care, free food, free prizes, live radio broadcasts and so much more! The website address is www.goodallhospital.org for more information, directions, lists of vendors, etc. I will be there, with another Stampin' Up! demo at booth 89-ish (I don't remember the exact # but it's close). Come see us and visit all the other great exhibits!
On to the card. This was a card I had done a couple of weeks ago but never have gotten a chance to post. I used both the Faux Ribbon and Green Thumb stamps sets from Papertrey Ink. BTW, the new set was released yesterday and it is sooooo cute!! Go take a look at Little Lady. It's on backorder now, but I know you'll want it! :) Also, go look at the winner of last month's contest using Faux Ribbon, it is phenomenal!!

I have a picture frame upstairs that inspired the border made with Faux Ribbon. This card is 3 x 3 so it was fairly easy to make the border look like a picture frame - once I figured out how to start it the right distance from the corner! The sentiment was stamped on a window sheet and then fastened with brads over the boots, then the whole center was popped out with dimensionals. I think it came out cute!
I still need to post my cards from the Blogger swap so be watching for those . . . oh and I got the best RAKs and baby cards recently from some of you wonderful bloggers out there so I want to show those too!! They all soooo made my day!! Have a great day everyone!!
