Totally Tote-able!
At last month's PMS
night we made some cute Valentine's cards (see my post of 1/26). Well, yesterday's "Try a New Technique" challenge on
SCS was an adorable tote bag made with one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 paper! I thought it would be cute if I made a tote to match one of the cards - I plan on using it for one of my children's Valentine's gifts (of course, I'll have to make 2 more for the other children!). As with the card, I used Pink Passion, Green Galore and Whisper White cardstock, the designer paper is Dots & Dashes, the tag stamp is from the hostess set Tags So Much and the sentiment is from Very Punny. I used silver brads, buttons, silver cording, orange grosgrain and dimensionals. This bag was so much fun to make - sooooo easy, just a few little cuts and a few lines to score and you're done. I can definitely see many uses for these!
On a separate note, have you ever heard of Blog Candy??? Well, I have discovered that this is another term for "Free Stuff!" Cindy over at Imagine-dream-create has a beautiful bella card she is giving away. Simply go to her blog and leave a comment on that post. BTW, be looking out for more about bellas soon. Yet another thing I've discovered and fell in LOVE with - I'm just waiting my bellas to arrive from Canada.
Have fun making totes and stamping! Send me pictures of your creations.
Sweet tote! Love all those colors! Thanks for sharing!
