TCP After Party Hop!

Hello TCP fans! We had a fun  Release party tonight (but then we always do!) and saw lots of pretty new peeks! Now it's time to give you one last look and send you off to shop!! :)

Our hop today started on Jen's blog so if you didn't start there go ahead, I'll wait!

My card today is made with The Cat's Pajamas new set, Sock It To Me! This set has already become a favorite - who can resist the monkey??

I did a bit of paper piecing with him, only coloring the ends of his hands, feet, tail and face. After I colored those areas I used a gauze pad soaked with Colorless Blender fluid to make a mottled pattern. It gives the monkey his signature "heathered" look!

Sorry I only have the one pic today, button laptop is down and that where my pics are - ugh!

It's time now for you to hop over to Susan's blog! She's sure to have some stampy, scrappy goodness for you!!

Don't forget to leave your comments along the way - there are 2 Cat Packers today who are giving away a new set! You just don't know who - cover your bases and comment on all! :). Thanks everyone, have a great day!!

  3. Wonderful card Julie! I love your mix of patterned papers (I just took the pattern play class so I'm studying what people.e are doing like a little fiend)! Love the mottled appearance too achieved with the colorless blender. Need to order me some refill so I can try this!
