Warm Winter Wishes

Hello!! It's the 15th of the month which means the whole Avocado Arts Pit Crew is posting today using this month's set, Very Merry along with a sneak peek of the December set, Smitten With You - get ready to be inspired big time! I wanted to try out the fireplace image today but also wanted it to be a little different.  So I put my Cameo to work with the Digital Cut file for Very Merry and came up with this classy little card.

Once I had the cut out  the fireplace, I stamped and embossed the image using black embossing powder. It's hard to photograph but it actually looks pretty neat! (It's also difficult to see that the larger black panel is embossed with a Spellbinders snowflake pattern.) I added the garland, stockings and bow all cut from the Digital Cut file next and even found some pine bough cut files from Silhouette to adorn my mantel.

The sentiment, from the December set, seemed perfect for my warm, cozy fireplace scene!  The rest of the card was left pretty simple since there's a lot going on in the scene.
