Sneaky Peek Week Begins & TCP Tuesday #237!
Good morning!! I am bright and perky this morning because I'm SO very excited to begin Sneaky Peek week at The Cat's Pajamas!! I know you've all been waiting patiently but now it's time to party and enjoy some new swankiness! First some details, mark your calendars for Monday, 11/26/12 at 8 p.m., and join us for the PJ Party in the SCS Forum - more peeks, prizes and lots of fun! Be there!
Next, a bit about this extra special release!
The Cat's Pajamas is now 10 years old! Alma started making rubber stamps at her dining room table, hand cutting rubber and cushion and attaching them to wood blocks to sell to the local stamp stores where she was teaching. And so much has happened to stamping in 10 years. But our love of stamping is still going strong. So this release, we are excited to celebrate the way we started. With rubber stamps. Not just any rubber stamps. Cling Stamps for easy storage and positioning. Perfect for those who love rubber, but also love the convenience and ease of clear. Limited Edition because these stamps are extra special, lovingly assembled at Alma's dining room table. Just like we did 10 years ago. So snap them up, because only a small number will be made. Her table is only so big.But wait, there's more! It's also TCP Tuesday and I'm the Hipster Hostess today. This week I'm challenging you to use wood or a wooden element on your card. There are so many fun products out there that you could use, including the Wood Sheets carried at The Cat's Pajamas!
Today we are peeking Snow Kisses featuring everyone's favorite penguin! I used Jen's November SFYTT for my card today and had fun with some sparkle and bling!
So, how to incorporate wood? Well I used that great wood paper from TCP but I colored it blue and cut my snowflakes from it using the Snowflake Lace Paper CutUps die! Who says wood has to be brown?! (I know your questioning blue snowflakes right now, but work with me - LOL!!)
If you click on the picture to make it bigger, you'll be able to see the neat woodgrain in the snowflakes! |
