Good morning! It's the first of the month (really???) which means a brand new challenge from Oozak.com!! And sadly, it's my last month with them - what a terrific team of people, I've enjoyed every minute of it!!! Check out the Oozak blog today to see who the newest design team member is!
Our challenge this month is "Add a Die Cut". Ok, die cuts are some of my very favorite things ever! I just love a cute die, one that you know you'll use time and time again. Oozak.com has a super selection of dies from several different companies so I'm sure you can find something to play with! I got a bit inky with my card for today - something I *rarely* do. Most of you know that inky, technique-y things sceeeeeeere me a lot! I don't generally do this but I really wanted my cut bat die cuts to have a night sky to fly through so I went for it!
I hopped over to Michelle Zindorf's blog and found so many great tutorials on how to make fun inky backgrounds. Then I got out my Ranger tools and inks and gave it a go - I have to say it was really fun! I won't take too much time to give you a step by step, but I will say, the moon is made using a mask, easy peasy.
