Tangerine Thanks
It's a great day, don't you think so?! I'm excited to start a new week with so many things going! One of the fun things is that the Kitchen Sink Stamps new release is one week away and Maria is starting her Sneak Peek game today!! Every day this week she'll have a peek of the new sets. All you have to do is answer her question to be entered into a chance for KSS prizes!
I recently passed up (what? I'm kicking myself now for it!) a great shirt that was such an amazing (and very "in") shade of tangerine. I know, it's the color this year! Anyway, it got me thinking that these Kitchen Sink Stamps 3 Step Daisies would be beautiful in tangerine so I gave it a try!
I used FTL 186 for this one which I think would have looked much better if I had moved the daisy on the bottom over a bit more so the 2 didn't line up. Next time . . .! Here's my color recipe:
Step 3 (Barn Red) Ranger, Step 3 again (Tangelo) Memento , Step 2 - (Lady Bug Red) Memento, Step 2 again - (Tangelo) Memento, Step 1 - (Tangelo) Memento, Step 1 again - (Lady Bug Red, stamped off) Memento
So as you can see, I had to make up my own Tangerine color but I think it worked. I also love the pop of brown added with the polka dot paper!
I hope you have a chance to visit the rest of the KSS Crew today and don't forget to watch for the sneak peeks! Have a great day!
Cardstock: (White) Neenah, Patterned Paper: (Dots & Stripes) Echo Park, Stamps: (3 Step Daisies) Kitchen Sink Stamps, Ink: (Lady Bug Red, Tangelo, Rich Cocoa) Memento, (Barn Red) Ranger
