Hello!! I first need to apologize about messing up the Softpencil Blog Hop today!! I was up late last night finishing up my card and post and had it all set to auto-post at 8:00 am so when I received an email that my post wasn't up I was surprised. I know some of you have had troubles with Blogger before, but I never really have. Well, not only did it not auto-post, my complete post was gone, no pictures, no text, nothing except a title - arrrgghhh!!! Oh well, that's life I guess.
BUT, hopefully you have popped in for the Softpencil Blog Hop and of course you should start on the Softpencil blog. The very sweet Elizabeth Pujalka owner of Softpencil Studios, emailed me a few weeks ago and asked if I'd participate in a special hop to celebrate the 1st anniversary of her Tinytwinies, her new shop, new clear stamps, new products and her 10th anniversary as a professional artist. Elizabeth has been so supportive and generous as a sponsor on our Children's Challenge Corner blog that I was only too happy to get a chance to help her out! Plus her drawings are so sweet!
I chose Sunny Gardener to work with, I just couldn't resist the cute little Springy scene!
I used the current Deconstructed Sketch (No. 47) from Jen Shults for my card - great sketch! After I colored the little scene with Copic markers I sponged on some clouds - I seem to have a cloud fetish (again!) lately. :)
Don't you love Sunny's little overalls? I hope you have time to visit the rest of the blogs on the hop. There's an chance to win some great prizes so be sure to read all the details on the Softpencil blog. Thanks for stopping in today - I hope it was worth the wait! ;)
