TCP Tuesday #144

I missed TCP Tuesday with all the craziness going on but I did manage to eeeeek out a card so here goes!  Leigh is our swingin' hostess this week with another one of her awesome sketches.  I knew I wanted to do something with the new Love Letters set and I think I got a bit carried away with all the fun pieces! *wink*

I started by making my own patterned paper on red cardstock.  I used lots of the fun little stamps from the Love Letters set, embossing some in white, some with clear and one in dark blue.  I also used Honey Bear and gave PJ a little love letter of his own!  I used the stamp outline and the new Stamp Trio Cut-Ups for the vertical element - love this die so much!! It makes such perfect stamps and so easy.  Oh and what about that fun Airmail Divine Twine??!  The red, white & blue is perfect for USPS colors and we can start dreaming ahead to July 4th! :)

One other thing to mention, The Cat's Pajamas is now carrying White & Natural Neenah Classic Crest Cardstock - the good stuff too, 110 lb!!  I'm so excited about this - I love being able to get my stamps, my cute embellies, felt, dies AND now cardstock all in one place!!  It makes it so convenient & saves on shipping - plus the Neenah cardstock is perfect for Copics and almost any other type of coloring medium you use!

Ok, so skip over to Alma's (or to the TCP Forum on Splitcoaststampers) and leave a link to your card made with the sketch - it's a new month and there's a Swanky Stamper out there somewhere!

  4. What a darling Valentine! I love how you used red, white and blue but it still is totally "valentine-ish!" Also I love that this would work well for a man or a boy. Great card! :)
