Good Friends

Do you get the feeling I've just been sitting here with The Cat's Pajamas stamps having a ball?? Well that would be true!! I know you all want to see all the goodies in store for you and I'm here to help! :)  The Sneaky Peek of the day yesterday was Good Friends - the three adorable penguins all cozied up watching a flick, cute!!

I decided to make mine a girly card - you see they are watching a great chick flick like the one my SIL just loaned us, Valentine's Day - is it good?  We haven't watched it yet, but I am looking forward to a fun movie night!  So back to the penguins, I stamped them first on the white, then on the patterned paper and then again on a scrap of white.  Why?  Well, since my friend Joanne might be checking in on me during these TCP peeks, I had to get the depth thing right (and I have to say, she's right on!).  If you just pieced the couch around the penguins then it would look like they were all sunken down in the couch and we don't want that! First, you cut your couch out of the patterned paper, then you color the penguins on the scrap paper, cut it out and add it on top of the pieced couch.  Make sense?  It takes a tiny bit more time, but it's all in the details my friends!! :)

I just love the stripey couch, don't you?  And check out the tv. . . Since it looks like one of those cute, retro televisions I pieced part of it using some woodgrain paper from October Afternoon - hee hee!!  I've been having fun mixing different Nestie shapes lately, it's fun to try new things!  And speaking of new . . . did you spy something else on there new? something that The Cat Pack has been showing you too??  {LOVE!}

That's it from me today.  We're off to the lake - maybe we'll spy Emma at camp across the lake (yes, her camp is just about 10-15 minutes from home and on the lake we frequent!).  Thanks so much for visiting!!
