A Card and More Treats!

Good morning! Quick post today as I have sick kiddos here - not sure who it will be today but we had 2 with a stomach bug yesterday so it's just a waiting game now!

I used the Clean & Simple Stamping FTL#75 to make a card using Rubber Soul stamps and paper.  I love how this turned out!  The quote is from a Rubber Soul/Wordsworth set called Peace and the paper is Meadow's Edge.  I stamped the leaf image several times in the right corner using Soft Sky, Fresh Snow and Taken With Teal inks.  I also stamped the little star block a few times using Soft Sky ink and added some tiny rhinestones to a few of them.

How about another prize package in celebration of my 3 years of blogging?!  I have a few treats courtesy of Rubber Soul including a paper pack, an alphabet set and a cute little Heart Flower stamp.

I've also included a few issues of Paper Crafts Magazine - one of them is the BRAND NEW Stamp It magazine that is just out.  I just happen to have a card in - and it's a Rubber Soul card!  :)  The whole magazine is just beautiful so if you don't win be sure to pick one up!

Leave me a comment on this post - what would you like to see more of here? what questions can I answer? how can I make this blog more helpful for you?  I'd love to know what you want to see!!  I'll pick a winner on Tuesday!  Have a great Friday my friends!

Cardstock:  White (Gina K Designs), Patterned Paper: Meadow's Edge (Rubber Soul), Stamps: Peace (Rubber Soul), Ink: Fresh Snow (Papertrey Ink), Soft Sky, Taken With Teal (SU!), Black (Memento), Accessories: White Satin Ribbon (Papertrey Ink), rhinestones (Taylored Expressions), foam adhesive

  4. Julie you have out done yourself again. What an elegant card. The simplest sometimes are the most beautiful - and a big WOW on getting published but no surprise.

My big question to you is: Card sizes. Which ones are the best, easiest, most popular & since we are on the subject.. what about envelopes that go with them. Do you make make everyone or where do you buy them.

    Big Mamma loves your blog!

  23. Congrats on the publication and 3 years of your blog. I have only been visiting it for 3/4 year or so but it is great! I would like to know how you find time and inspiration with a young and relatively large family. Also, do you make kids (your own or friends/relatives) cards with their ages and interests in mind? I try to but it can be tricky - any advice? Thanks for a chance to win.
