Happy KSS Monday!
I just love Mondays now that all the Kitchen Sink Stamps Crew members post on the same day - it's so much fun to see everyone's cards! I don't know about you but I'm stuck in a Valentine's card rut lately - something about pinks and reds and all the fun embellies out there that keeps calling me!
This new 3 Step Hearts set called me today. What a fun set! I love the shape of the heart and with the different "insides" you can create some wonderful cards. Today I chose to use the floral inside, I'm not sure what kind of flowers they are but aren't they pretty?! I used Taylor's Cupcake Challenge #53 for the layout of the card and went for the soft, romantic feeling. Now, my husband just hates it when I make big bows on cards but this ribbon from the KSS Store is just so luscious and beautiful - it comes in other colors too and it's double-sided!!! YUM!
The sentiment is from another new set - Words of Love. This set has everything you need for any loving occasion - I know I will be using this set a lot!!
Cardstock: Red (Bazzill), Very Vanilla (SU!), Patterned Paper: K&Co., Stamps: 3 Step Hearts, Words of Love (Kitchen Sink Stamps), Ink: Sweet Blush (PTI), Angel Pink, Rhubarb Stalk, Tuxedo Black (Memento), Accessories: Ribbon (Kitchen Sink Stamps store), Buttons (Foo Fa La), Dimensionals, Nestabilities
One more quick project . . . our wonderful Dee had a fun Project of the Month a while ago using these neat Pewter Pendant Trays. I picked up a couple and have been waiting to try them out (actually I tried it once but Crystal Effects made my inks all bleed and blend together - yuck!!). This is a quick and simple design using the smallest heart from Love & Luck and the word from Words of Love. This time I used Judikins Diamond Glazeand it worked just great!
Ink: Pretty In Pink (SU!), Rose Bud (Memento), Raspberry Fizz (Papertrey Ink)
Lots of NEWS this week: I've gotten some fun treats together to celebrate my just passed Blogaversary so I'll be posting that this week!
Also, did you see the cute little blinkie over there at the left . . . the formal "announcement" will be this week and I'm sooooo excited about it (you can click on the blinkie to find out more if you can't wait!)
I hope you all have a great week - thanks for visiting! Please visit my fellow Crew members for more KSS goodness!
