Dance Ballerina Dance!
Since it's February (can you believe it?) it's time to see the newest Stamp of the Month from Paper Pretties. I posted it once already but here's another card I made using Ballerina Sophia.
I went a bit bolder than the soft pinks I usually think of when I think "ballerina" - the card base is Dark Chocolate (PTI) and I added a strip of Raspberry Fizz for a pop! This is another fairly straight-forward and simple layout that I've been enjoying lately. The sentiment tag was made by layering a scalloped circle (that was smooshed onto a Versamark pad and embossed using Iridescent Ice ep) under the cut-out rectangle (I used my Crop-a-dile to give it notched corners).
Sophia is colored with Copic makers and I added some Iridescent Ice embossing powder to her skirt for a bit of sparkle.
I have to give a big Thank You to my friend Molly who sent the ribbon to me - it's PTI's new Vanilla grosgrain. Thanks so much Molly!!
I know you all love Ballerina Sophia so go sign up for the Stamp of the Month Club and get her in March (instead of waiting until April when she's released to the public).
Cardstock: Dark Chocolate, Raspberry Fizz, Vintage Cream (Papertrey Ink), Stamps: Ballerina Sophia (Paper Pretties), Accessories: Iridescent Ice ep, Copic Markers, Ribbon (Papertrey Ink), Bella Pearls (Stamping Bella) , Nestabilities, Corner Rounder Punch
By the way, are you looking for creative ways to use your Nestabilities, or do you just need to some tips on how to use them? Head over to the Paper Pretties Forum and check out the 8 Nestabilities Tutorials that our wonderful Charmaine has done especially for you! You will love them I promise!! :)
