Prettie Pieced Wednesday

ETA: Change of plans in the release schedule - Thank You Sophia will not be released until later in the year to make way for some seasonal Sophias. So . . . . sorry I had to remove my card! I'll try to get a replacement up soon - sorry for the confusion!! :)

Jackie gave the Prettie Girls a challenge 2 weeks ago to make our own background paper but to also use that paper to paper piece with - phew! I admit I was stumped for a little bit, but I think I managed ok.

So isn't she adorable??!! This is Thank You Sophia and she is the October Stamp of the Month Club stamp - which means she will be sent out to Club Members the first of October but will not be publicly available until November. So, if you love her, go sign up for the Club now and get her before everyone else! I just don't know how she keeps getting cuter and cuter each month!! :)

I used the small flower from Rainy Day Friend to stamp the background of my card and then I stamped it on some Pink Pirouette paper, colored it with a white gel pen and paper pieced Sophia's dress. I just love pretty white flowers. There didn't seem to be room for a sentiment so I used the Thank You stamp on the inside of the card.

Next week we'll be posting with my challenge, and since I forgot to announce it here I'll tell you that I challenged the Prettie Girls, and you, to make a shaped card - something other than square, rectangle or circular. I'd love to see what different shapes you come up with - send me a link!!
