We're Back!
Good morning!!! We're back from our mini vacation and had such a great time!!! We drove to Colliersville, NY - just down the road from Cooperstown, near Oneonta - and had a great visit with 2 of my aunts and uncle. They live on a nice little lake (Goodyear Lake) and have a great camper set up for visitors - we were totally spoiled! I don't know if I can go back to tenting after having a fridge and bathroom in the camper! :) We swam in their beautiful pool, fished off the dock, went in the peddle boat, visited my cousin's dairy farm, visited the Farmers' Museum and has such a nice time! My children want to move to NY now - lol! I'll post some pics soon!
I am sooooo far behind on everything now. I had to wipe my Google Reader clean since there were over 700 posts - if I tried to go through them all I'd never make it!! So I'm so sorry that I didn't comment and visit on all of the old posts but I'm going to keep up now!! :)
I need to get my Card of the Week Sketch done and catch up on my Prettie Girl challenge but until then here is a quick project I completed last week.
If you haven't already checked out my Product Review in the Paper Pretties Forum, click here to read up - the product is these fun Making Memories Ribbon Slides. Christie has put them on sale for the month of July only, along with all the ric rac! - so hurry and get yours before they're gone!
I wanted to make something other than a card and thought another bookmark might be fun, but personalized this time!! I made this for my oldest who is such a bookworm these days! She's been reading the American Girl books and loving them! We got a bunch for our trip from the library and she read half of them before we even left! I used the cute ribbon charms at the top of the bookmark to hold the ribbon in place and then tied the ends so they would stay put. The slides are so fun for personalizing things!!
I used cute little Off to School Sophia for this but the sentiment is from Look Out World Cooper. Off to School was the June Stamp of the Month club stamp. Remember you only have until the end of July to sign up for the SOTM club to get your Howdy Cowgirl Sophia stamp before she's available for purchase!!
Thanks for visiting - have a great day!! Oh - a BIG Happy Birthday to my niece today - she's 8!! Amazing how fast those years have gone! Happy Birthday Alivia! :)
