A Papertrey Picnic
Hello friends! I promised a few people some pics of my weekend. I had the distinct pleasure of organizing a little meet & greet picnic on Sunday afternoon with Nichole Heady and about 30 Papertrey Ink'ers (users, that is) from Maine! We had to change venues rather quickly due to the unsettled forecast but it worked out just fine in the end.
I need to thank my good friend Amber for all the help she gave me in planning, decorating, setting up, etc. She has great style and flair and I couldn't have managed it all without her! Thank you Amber!! :)
Each lady who came brought a dish to share and let me just say, I could not have gotten better food if I hired a caterer!! It was all delicious!! They even shared the recipes (I'll be getting those out soon ladies - I promise!).
We had an optional swap that was so much fun! Here again, the cards were amazing!! It really was one of the best swaps I've participated in! And wouldn't you know, I forgot to take a picture of my card! Oh well - if you go to Chris's Corner (Hi Chris!), she put pics of all the swaps there.
It was such a treat to meet Nichole and her husband David! They are truly wonderful and were so much fun to chat with! We so appreciated them taking time during their vacation to come spend the afternoon with us! I also enjoyed meeting some fellow PTI customers right here in Maine (and a few from NH)!! It was great to put faces to email addresses! We are even talking about getting together again - and there will be stamping! :)
Thank you again ladies for such a pleasant day and especially to Nichole and David for spending it with us!
Oh how fun, Julie! Looks like you all had a GREAT time! :)
