More Papertrey Goodness
So have you seen the news??! I received an Honorable Mention from Nicole on her blog today for my submission to last month's Guest Star Stamper. How exciting!!! Thanks so much Nicole!! I took a look around the gallery at all the submissions on release night and was just amazed at all the fabulous creations in there - it's neat to be able to see all the entries!
Here's my card. I bought the It's A Celebration set because I really needed a good birthday set - it has so many great images. When I looked at the hats though I thought they would make good ice cream cones with the cupcake top as the ice cream. It was a fun card to make - very quick to line up! I used one of the small dots for the cherries and inked just one little bit of confetti for the stems. I added a nice dollop of Crystal Effects to them so they really look life-like. The cherry leaf on the tag was made using the candle flame from the
