More Birthday pics

Just thought I'd share some pics from Emma's birthday party this weekend. I finally got my new laptop today so I'm scrambling to get it all set up and start working again!

Ok, first, remember this was a ladybug themed birthday so here is the cake we came up with. Emma helped decorate it even! I have been known to make some pretty sad looking cakes (and some pretty ones - but more recently they've been just sad!), so I needed to redeem myself this time. It was fun to make and decorate with her. Here is the table with the cute ladybugs plates and cookie jar that I found on clearance at Target - LOVE that! They had adorable sparkly ladybug cups too but only had 1 left! :(

Here is the card I made for Emma. I wanted it to coordinate with the invitations I posted last week (remember these?). Again, I used Little Lady and It's a Celebration from Papertrey Ink as well as the 2 new pink colors from last month's release. The Berry Sorbet makes a cute ladybug! I made a tiny little slider that I attached to the card - that's my favorite part. I also stamped another set of wings, folded them and glued them on to the top ladybug.

Finally, here is a little thank you card I made for Emma to send out . . . in keeping with the theme of course! :)
In other news, I got an email tonight letting me know that was one of the 25 people randomly for the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop tomorrow night - how exciting! But now I feel all this pressure . . .yikes! Ok, it's just for fun right?! I'm excited to participate - hope to see you there!
