St. Patty's Thanks!
Happy St. Patrick's Day! I'm not Irish, but I can still say that right? :) I made a quick card today with my Kitchen Sink Stamps Limited Edition stamp that came with a little birthday treat from Maria. I love these cute little thank you stamps that are included with new KSS orders.
This card was super quick! I used my new SU! jumbo wheel Lots of Dots to roll along the bottom of the cardstock. I used the ribbon to separate it from the top and used a couple "faux brads" at the top since I didn't have cream brads (they are simple dots of cardstock punched out with my 1/8" hole punch, then layered with som Crystal Effects for dimension and shine).
Here's a close-up of the stamp. I'm not sure, but I think the sentiment in part, must be Gaelic, with the translation "1000 thanks to you" on the other part. I used a pretty Swarovsky crystal in the center of the clover.
Busy day today . . baby has his check-up (although we just went to the dr. Friday - he has RSV!). Poor little guy, he's not too bad but you can just tell he doesn't feel himself! My brother-in-law is also home for a couple days before he ships out for another 3 months so we're having him up for supper. Have a Happy St. Patty's Day everyone!! :)
Cardstock: Wild Wasabi, Very Vanilla, DP is Scenic Route Charlotte, Stamps: 1000 Thanks (KSS), sentiment is from Never a Loss 4 Words, Lots of Dots jumbo wheel (SU!), Ink: Wild Wasabi, Accessories: Swarovski crystal, Vanilla grosgrain, Crystal Effects, Dimensionals, Circle punch, Scalloped Circle punch
What a great card, love the brad idea, never would have thought about doing that. Hope baby is doing better, enjoy your St. Patty's Day dinner with the family.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear Aaron is sick! RSV is NOT fun - Julia had it once, even though she got the shot for it (VERY expensive shots, but all premies get them!) and even her reduced version was BAD. Without the shot, she probably would have been hospitalized, so take care (BOTH of you!)
ReplyDeleteLOVE the card. And even if you aren't Irish, you can still love St. Patty's day! :-)
Take care, lots of huggs to the little guy!!
Hope your little one is doing better!
ReplyDeleteYour card is really really cute Julie! And yep, you can say it even if you're not Irish - LOL!
*STAMPIN HUGS* Alex
