Altered Notepads
A few days ago Debbie Olsen had a cute pattern for her Notebook with a Purpose. I loved the way her template has pockets so that you can hold loose paper on one side and you can just slip your notebook in the other!
I thought this would be the perfect project for our church ladies group's craft night tonight. Debbie was nice enough to let me know that she got her notebooks at Walmart in a 3 pack but I didn't have time to get to the store so . . . .I thought I'd see if I could alter Debbie's template to work with these cut in 1/2 Jr. Legal pads - remember those?! It was easy enough to do and still only uses one 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of cardstock! (If anyone wants the dimensions, please let me know!)
I made 2 different designs, to suit different tastes and to make sharing supplies a bit easier in a large group.
The notebooks are so great for lots of things, shopping lists, wish lists, prayer lists, lists of lists - lol! I hope the ladies love making these tonight! I'm going to have them all precut and scored to save time, so I need to go get working on that! Thanks Debbie for the great template!
