My ATCs
Good morning! Hope you are having a great weekend so far! Did you see the pictures of Charmaine's new baby Isaac?? Go look - he's BEAUTIFUL!! Oh I cannot believe it was only 6 months ago that I was there . . . it feels like a year and I miss it already!! I am one that LOVES the teeny, tiny baby stage. I think most people like babies most once they start interacting - and I love that too - but I really love the just newborn, sleep-anywhere-in-any-position, little lump of love stage! I love being able to sit forever just holding a new baby, drinking in that new baby smell! Congrats again Charmaine- give Isaac lots of snuggles for me! :)
I have a bunch of things that I've been meaning to post but on Friday I told you I'd post my ATCs for Taylor's swap so here they are! I signed up in 2 groups - Group 12 for Stampendous and Groug 16 for Elzybells. If you've never tried an ATC before I encourage. . no I dare you try! They are so fun and can be quick to make! The best thing is that you can then take these and turn them into a card with almost no effort!
For the Stampendous card (Worship the King) I had wanted to use my cute Little Drummer Boy stamp but it was really too but . . . it would have been the only thing on the ATC since they are 3.5x2.5! So I decided to mask off and stamp just the baby Jesus and sheep. I used my CM circle cutting system to cut the image and the background gold layer. The dp is SU! Wintergreen paper (don't forget about SU!'s Pick a Pack of Pretty Paper promotion this month - buy 3 sets of dp get 1 FREE!!). I colored the image with my Prismacolor pencils (available from Paper Pretties as is the sentiment stamp) and OMS. The stars are cut using my Cuttlebug and star dies.
For Elzybells I used some adorable dp from Paper Salon's Hip Hip Hooray Collection, called Mini Dots and Stripe (Elzybells coat) available in the Paper Pretties Corner Store. This is a shaker card and I love how it came out! The colors are soft and girly and the shaker was so easy to make using my Nestabilities!! I used them to cut out the frame, the background and the acetate - perfect every time!! Inside the shaker are microbeads and a tiny bit of Dazzling Diamonds glitter. I added a small Swarovski crystal in the center of the snowflake in the corner and stamped my sentiment right on the dp at the bottom.
I hope people in the swap enjoy as much I enjoyed making them! Thanks for reading - enjoy the day!
those are TOO cute! wish I'd have signed up, but with the holidays, no time!
