Stamping in Your Jammies (SIYJ)

Last night was the monthly Stamping in Your Jammies night at Paper Pretties. I didn't get to play along for all 3 challenges but I did have the chance to jump in for the last one. Yea!!! SIYJ is so much fun! The last challenge was my favorite - a sketch challenge! Here's the sketch and here is my card. You are supposed to use only stamp images that have been featured in any of the past Paper Pretties Card Packages. That list is getting pretty big - and this month's stamps are sooooo much fun! But last night I chose Cruisabella .

The paper I chose set the tone for the whole card. It's Basic Grey from their Phoebe line. I watercolored the image and then wanted to add some sparkle to the car. Since I didn't have the exact color green glitter I took the two I had, Glorious Green and Spring Green and mixed them - it worked!! The result is a green glitter that compliments the paper perfectly. I was also excited that I got to use my new SU! Photo Corner punch - so fun! The result it kind of wild - but I think it's a fun card and it was definitely fun to participate!

On a side note - have you seen the 5 new sets released by My Favorite Things today?
